04 - Testimonials

What our customers say.

He anticipated potential issues before they arose, saving us time and resources. What impressed me most was his ability to seamlessly transition between roles: architect, builder, project manager, and problem-solver.

Helped us get a DA over the line when the builder left job incomplete. We will be using their assistance on any future builds.

Grant fully understood my goal of maximising return on investment. The outcome was nine modern studio apartments, each with their own kitchen and bathroom, all on a small site of less than 600m2.

Grant has a strong eye for the commercial aspects of projects, delivering to agreed and clearly defined time, budget and scope.

Very cost conscious in the design process and always looking for the best solution. Would 100% recommend.

Grant is an asset to any project. Consultative, strategic, and practical.

His remarkable attention to detail, good communication, and dedication to staying within budget made the process simple and stress-free.

They did not charge extra fees for more works and managed to get DA approval within eight weeks. Very nice and honest.

06 - FAQ

Questions we hear most often.

How much will my project cost?

We start with a free conversation about your budget, your site, and what you want to build. From there, we adapt your design to your budget and goals, working through the trade-offs together to test whether the budget is realistic and where it can flex. From design to handover, we guide you so every decision you make is an informed one.

How can you help me?

Wherever you are in the process. Bare land and an idea, plans that need costing, a stalled project that needs unsticking. We offer design and pre-construction as services in their own right, before any commitment to build. The earlier you bring us in, the more we can save you. The later, the more we can fix.

Is my project right for Redgate?

Duplexes, townhouses, and small multi-residential. Light commercial and industrial. Consultancy on stuck or over-budget projects. If your project fits, get in touch. If it doesn't, we'll tell you on the first call and point you somewhere useful.

What's the difference between design and build and engaging a separate architect and builder?

In a traditional project, the architect designs first and the builder is brought in later at tender. Design and build keeps both at the table from the start. That means buildability and real trade costs shape the design as it develops, so the budget you plan around is the budget you build to.

Ready to talk about your project?

Grant comes back within one business day. The first 30 minutes covers your site, your planning context, and whether your project is workable. No sales pitch. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so.
